Confirm the complete fitting

Aurora’s EN-DE8/30 reference is an integrated LED downlight, not a GU10 lamp holder. Order the appropriate manufacturer-compatible EN-BZE8 bezel separately and confirm the actual sale contents with APM. A bezel shown in a product photograph does not establish that it is included.

The manufacturer’s historical EN-DE8 sheet identifies the /30 model as 8W and 3000K. Its performance and dimension figures apply to that document’s revision; confirm the actual item and instructions where light output, cut-out, recess depth, dimmer compatibility or a replacement opening matters.

Fire performance and heat management are separate checks. Obtain the applicable test or assessment for the actual downlight and floor/ceiling construction, required fire period, joist type and board build-up. “Fire-rated” is not approval for every ceiling or permission to cover any fitting with any insulation.

The 2018 manufacturer sheet describes limited fibre-based insulation coverage, not a universal insulation permission or proof that a separate guard is supplied. Follow the instructions for the actual version, insulation material and depth, driver position and clearances. Do not substitute a generic fire hood or clearance rule.

Have the installer assess the complete assembly for its location. IP65 is not a blanket bathroom, wet-location or outside-use approval, and the fitting without the specified bezel is not established as an IP65 assembly. Confirm warranty eligibility and any accessories for the actual supplied item rather than assuming inclusion or coverage from a historic sheet.
